Grass Fed Red Poll Beef, Asparagus.
We want you to experience the Beef of Old England - tender, marbled, grass fed,
hung for at least 3 weeks and from a traditional Slow Food breed. We can deliver
locally within 15 miles, but also send meat as we collect it from where it is
butchered in a chilled box directly to anywhere in the UK.
Our pedigree herd of Red Poll Cattle is ideally suited to forage our green fields
on our organic farm from April to November. In June and July we make our own
hay and haylage for the cattle to eat during the winter months. We cherish our
animals and welcome visitors to our Open Farm Sunday events and at other

In the heart of the Tyne Valley, just outside Corbridge, Brocksbushes Farm draws
customers from the whole North East of England and beyond. The Farm is
famous for its 'pick your own' strawberry and raspberry fields, its asparagus
fields and an award winning farm shop and tea room.
Our own organic farm produce plus much much more! We grow and produce
our own rare breed Essex Saddleback pork which is made into hams, bacon
and sausages.
We are famous for our organic asparagus grown here on the farm.
We stock homemade cakes, locally produced jams and chutneys along with a
huge array of other locally produced flours (some ground in a windmill, eggs,
cheeses and chocolates.
We are fortunate to also be surrounded by some wonderful small producers of
organic vegetables and fruit.

Large friendly farm shop located on a farm just outside Brentwood growing over
30 types of fruit and vegetables including asparagus, strawberries, raspberries,
rhubarb, potatoes and plums. Other items stocked include locally reared meats,
smoked fish from Suffolk, Essex preserves and chutneys, pies, hams,local fruit
juices, cakes and fresh bread daily. Shop open Tuesday - Sunday, closed

Clouts Wood is located just outside Wroughton, and has been an important woodland for local people for over 1,000 years. Once dominated by Wych Elm, it was ravaged by Dutch Elm disease in the 1970s and today consists mostly of Oak and Ash. The wood is managed by coppicing, which creates sunny glades, ideal for woodland wildflowers such as the bluebell, which makes a stunning display in late April-May. Look out for the elegant Bath Asparagus in June – very unusual this far east of Bath. There are trails throughout the wood, which is located on a slope. Wildlife found here includes wildflowers such as Bath asparagus, wood vetch, nettle-leaved bellflower, bluebells and yellow archangel. Birds including the great spotted woodpecker, treecreepers, and mammals such as squirrels, badgers and deer make their home here. Visit Clouts Wood in spring (for woodland wildflowers), summer (for trees), or autumn (for fungi) – but wear Wellingtons or walking boots, as the steep terrain is often muddy.

His Chicken, Leek & Laverbread Pie won the True Taste of Wales Award 2008 and in 2006 both his Steak & Red Wine Pie and Breakfast Quiche had a recommendation.
