We are a small family livestock farm (40 acres) on the outskirts of the village of
Kimbolton where we rear 20 Aberdeen Angus Cattle and breed 90 Suffolk X
Sheep.
7 acres of traditional cider orchard, some trees up to 60 years old, together with
a few Perry Pears and ½ acre of damson trees, walnut and cobnut. Through the
orchards we run a flock of free range hens (warrens) together with a few pet
ducks.
Organic Foods
The real thing! Traditional tasty meat as it used to be where animal welfare
comes first. Rare breed pork, lamb and beef reared on our and our next door
neighbours small sustainable Teme Valley farms. It's free range, fed on
locally produced food with no additives, growth promoters, antibiotics or GM
ingredients. Because our animals are old traditional rare breeds, they take
longer to mature but the taste is well worth the wait. Most of our pork is the
fabulous Gloucester Old Spot and our beef Long Horn and Dexter. Then there
is our grass fed Soay, Shetland or Jacobs hogget lamb and mutton to die for,
bacon to drool for (home dry cured of course), and sausages with none of
the usual preservatives or colouring. We can also do them gluten free. In
season we have wild venison, pheasant and partridge and non farmed fish

airship hangars, the Summerhill Farm Shop has an outstanding reputation.
Thanks to Andy’s family heritage of butchering, we excel in providing top
quality meat. We are proud to produce our own homemade items, including
sausages (one of which is our exclusive ‘Hangar Banger’) and burgers. We
locally raise our own British White Beef on the Southill Estate. The herds are
entirely grass-fed. Whether it’s lamb, pork, free range poultry, game or
exotic’s – we take great care in butchering the finest cuts of chosen meats for
you. From BBQs’ in the summer to turkeys’ at Christmas, we always provide
the very best for every occasion.
Our appreciation of good healthy food is enhanced by using our local
suppliers. Fresh eggs and chickens arrive to us from a neighbouring farm.
Local milk, cream and dairy products are delivered direct to our barn doors

Summerhill Farm Shop provides the finest of British wines that have
consistently won awards for their quality and flavour. Warden Abbey,
Bedfordshire's only working vineyard, is located a short distance from the
