High Callis Organic Lamb, vacuum packed, ready for fridge or freezer. We also

J. Stringer & Sons has been farming on the Yorkshire Wolds for more than fifty years. In 1999 we decided to convert our land to organic farming, so our crops and livestock are produced using a system which minimises artificial inputs and places a high emphasis on animal welfare. Our lambs are reared outside and fed on spring grass and red clover lays. This produces a full flavoured, tender meat. The lambs are slaughtered and butchered locally, helping to reduce both the stress on the animal and food miles. High Callis Organic Lamb is available in whole lamb boxes or half lamb boxes. We offer a Traditional Box with larger roasting joints and a Quick Cook Box ideal for easy mid-week meals. All our lamb is vac packed ready for fridge or freezer. Our lamb is done to order so please conact us for delivery time.
We also have organic flour, bread mixes, porridge oats and potatoes. Our flour and bread mixes are produced from organic cereals grown and milled on the farm using a traditonal wooden mill. The wheat grown for our flour is mainly Maris Widgeon, an old variety which has lots of flavour and is ideally suited to organic farming.
