“We went on 4th July 2010 and had a totally different experience. The butchers were very helpful, the meat excellent: well hung beef, delicious Welsh lamb, a good selection of cheeses, their own VG apple juice and cider all in a well-stocked shop. We are very fussy about farm shops but this was one of the best we've found. They close at 1 on Sunday and don't open on Mondays.

“This place is such a let down. The web site is in no way representative of what's there and the staff were hardly bothered. All they had was gooseberries. It was a waste of time. Since appearing in Rick Stein's Food Heros, they've obviously decided they don't need to care anymore.
