“Been buying icecream here since the beginning, so imagine our disappointment today when we tried the parlour for the 1st time not only did we have to wait 25mins for an icecream sundae but when it arrived it was 1 scoop of icecream on a merangue nest a couple of slices of bananna and loads of nasty squirty cream on a teaplate for 4.50 never again.

“Ordered coffee and scone for myself and icecreams for my 2 children. Waited 10 mins for coffee to arrive only to find scone had been blitzed in microwave so had gone solid and then 30 minutes later ice creams finally arrived! So much for all arriving together and there were only 3 other people in there. Lovely ice-cream but please sort out the service as at this rate we wont be going back!

“Having read your other 'glowing' reviews we can only assume we chose the wrong day to visit. Carvery mediocre, ice-cream bland and the attitude of the man serving on the carvery was extremely unwelcoming. Okay 12 of us turned up without booking but as there was ample room can't understand why he was so offhand with us. We thought he would welcome the business. We had ridden all the way from Northamptonshire with the expectation of a lovely meal and friendly welcome. Wish we hadn't bothered.
