Copas Traditional Turkeys
The Copas family have been producing luxury turkeys in Cookham since 1957 & still use old-fashioned production methods. Traditional breeds are raised naturally to adult maturity for succulence, then dry plucked by hand & game-hung for 2wks for tenderness & superior flavour. COPAS TURKEYS WIN GOLD STAR RATING FROM THE UK’s MOST RENOWNED FOOD AWARDS
Copas Traditional Turkeys has been awarded a Gold** rating for their Free Range Bronze Turkeys in the Great Taste Awards. Organised by The Guild of Fine Food, the 2010 awards attracted a record 6021 entries & judging took over 2 months for 350 judges to complete. The Copas Turkeys team are delighted that their Free Range Turkeys have been rated so highly. Jodie Cavaye, Sales & Marketing Manager says “Our Great Taste Award comes soon after winning another national Award this year for Health & Welfare in Poultry.
