AN ENGLISH VINEYARD IN THE HEART OF DEVON PRODUCING AWARD WINNING ENGLISH WINES. Lying a few miles NW of Okehampton, our vineyard enjoys gentle SE facing slopes. Every stage of our award winning wines are made by us on-site, for both still and sparkling wines. As a young vineyard, we are building our range every year. Our guided tours of the vineyard and winery were ranked as the top attraction in Devon by TripAdvisor's website in November 2011. Note: Must be over 18 to shop online.

Pruning starts here...

Every year Eastcott Vineyard wait until January to begin pruning the vines, so that the plants can become dormant. This year's weather has been quite different and the vines only lost their final leaves in mid December. So any day now they will begin the task of hand pruning over 6000 vines - a labour of love in anyones language! But this is the start of the cycle leading towards the 2012 harvest. Do get in touch to arrange a visit, if you'd like to see pruning in action during the spring.
