“This is an excellent shop and alot of the fruit and veg is grown on the farm behind the shop, if they dont grow it they do source locally. I am sure you must realise Bananas and Oranges and the sort do not grow in this country so have to be bought in but you will still find the quality excellent and prices are on a par with the supermarkets. This is well worth a visit.

“I visited the shop not so long ago and thought the shop was excellant, but I've also heard that alot of the produce is bought in. Would be interested in the reasons for this as it seems as though the farm behind the shop grows so many varieties of vegetables and has soft fruit as well .This has left me a little confused and dubious about the origins of the vegetables I purchased. Would be interesed to find out more....!

“There maybe alot of home grown veg in the shop most of the time but i have seen the deliveries from Leicester market ( Red bridge & Tony Toach ) come every morning with pallet loads of stuff being unloaded. I'm a local and I used the shop for my weekly shop but now I shop elsewhere as I feel the shop is a fraud.

“We grow over 35 varieties of fruit and veg, including 7 potatoes and strawberries. In February we can only harvest our winter brassicas. The selection this time of year is fantastic!

“This is quite a good shop but was very disappointed to hear that most of the veg comes from Leicester market!
