Jenkyn Place Brut 2006 wins Bronze Medal
In May 2010, Jenkyn Place Sparkling Brut 2006 has won, for the second year running, Bronze Medal at the English and Welsh Wine of the Year Competition. The latest batch of the wine has now had nearly three years on the lees, and is showing very well. In the vineyard we have just completed the planting of a further six acres of vines, nearly doubling the size of the vineyard. 7,000 vines were planted in five hours using a German Unimog vine planting machine. The excellent June weather has meant that this year crop is looking in very good shape, and should well surpass last yars 33 tons, as well as being of excellent quality. Jenkyn Place Brut 2007 will be released in March 2011
