Oaklands Organics
Award-winning organic meat and poultry Meat Boxes delivered FREE within 10 mile radius.Oaklands Farm is the home to Oaklands Organics, producers of award-winning humanely reared meats and Poultry. Oaklands, a 133 acre farm in the heart of the Rural Vale, is managed by husband and wife partnership, John & Rebecca O'Dwyer, who pride themselves on farming ethically, with little stress to the animals or damage to the environment. Oaklands pasture land is grazed by a herd of Pedigree Welsh Black cows and our flock of Welsh Balwen ewes, a rare breed, protected by the Rare Breed Survival Trust. We have free-range Tamworth pigs, also a rare breed, roaming the oak woodland and free-range chickens living in small flocks. We feed organic rations and do not use anti-biotics or additives routinely in the management of our stock. Homeopathic and herbal remedies are favoured in the treatment of our animals. The meadows, native oak woodland and wetlands at Oaklands are managed without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. Our meat and poultry has won awards from the True Taste Awards of Wales and Great Taste Awards, run by the British Guild of Fine Foods. We protect native rare and minority breeds as their slow grown meat is fantastic! Our traditional butcher hangs the meat well for the best flavour and texture before carefully cutting it to order. You can enjoy our great value meat boxes delivered FREE from the farm to your door.
