Sunnyside sits in the Nith valley in beautiful Dumfries and Galloway.

Our simple aim is to rear the animals in our care in a  humane  manner, to produce the best possible natural meat.

At Sunnyside you will not find pigs indoors in sheds, or calves in individual pens, or characterless white sheep. You will find rooting Gloucester Old Spots snuffling the ground for roots and grubs, wallowing in mud holes. You will find happy calves eating a variety of foods and skipping round our lush green fields. You will also find curiouse coloured shetland sheep that thrive on our hill ground in even the toughest scottish winter. Not forgeting our grass fed beef, all from pedigree Aberdeen Angus and cheeky little Dexters.

We love what we do, there is never a single day when we dont want to get out and do our job. The happy beasts make us smile.

But the only way to be able to keep rearing stock, is to be able to sell them.

Thats where our loyal customers come in. We want to share with anyone who is interested in what they eat the fruits of our love and labour.

Dont forget that we give each product as much attention in our butchery, personally preparing every product we produce in our own production facility.
