Uncle Roy used to run an award-winning Delicatessen in Moffat set in the rolling hills of Southern Scotland. After a lifetime spent hating mustard and always looking for new challenges he decided to make mustard you could eat and enjoy....
The result was mild and Mellow Moffat mustard that you can eat by the spoonful - in ten lovely flavours.
A restless mind soon started producing other unusual ideas - such as a modern reincarnation of Old Fashioned Gavy Salt (and a Low Sodium version too !!)
Speciality mustards such as Peppercorn, Rabbie's Burnie, and Wholegrain with Black Galloway Stout have been joined by Chocolate Chip and also Chocolate Chilli Mustard.
Novel Sauces like Moffat Dollop (tomato & mustard), Moffat Magic (mushroom and mustard) and a lovely fruity and spicy sauce - Sonsie Sauce have been joined by Super Horseradish Sauce ( described by Tom Parker Bowles as "Best Ever"
