We are a family run farm. All the animals are born and reared on the farm, to the highest welfare standards. They are all free range grass fed and are free from antibiotics. The pigs we breed are Berkshire, Old Spot and Large White.

Rush Matters

We specialise in the hand weaving of a range of designs fron English rush harvested by ourselves on the rivers Ouse and Nene. A standard range of tableware/tablemats are available but we are happy to make any size. The majority of our work is made to measure rush floor matting, log baskets, shopping bags, hand bags, hats, bread baskets, serviette rings, Moses baskets, cushions and much more. Ring to visit the workshop. I run weekend courses where students can learn various forms of weaving and take home a hat, bag or baskets. All abilities welcome. Re-caning, rush seating and re-upholstery undertaken.

We are a family run Farm who produce and sell free range poultry, beef, lamb & Gloucester Old Spot Pigs, we also sell locally shot game. Our poulry is reared, slaughtered, eviscerated and hand plucked on the Farm which means less stress to the bird and a huge reduction in food miles. We allow our birds to roam freely and are given time a to mature for 84 days compared to barn reared at 40 days. All the meat we sell on the farm comes from animals that are FREE RANGE and reared on the farm. Our livestock is slow-grown and traditionally reared and produced. Our beef is hung for 28 days. We have chicken and duck all year round and raise Turkey and Goose for the Christmas Market. We sell our produce at our on-site Butchery shop as well as many local Farmers Markets.
