Our mini project is global awareness and Fairtrade- we took part in the Fairtrade banana eating world record attempt and have had a Fairtrade tea party.

The group uses traditional methods to maintain the woodland, coppicing trees on a seven year rotationa and laying hedges during the winter months, planting wildflowers, and keeping fencing, paths and stiles in good order.

Swindon and District Beekeepers Association

We meet on the last Thursday of the month from Sept through to March as a group with speakers discussing aspects related to beekeeping. We provide training opportunities through out the year. Summer activities are planned around beekeepers allowing them time to tend to their own bees.
