The Nurse's Cottage Restaurant with Rooms

We serve Breakfast and Dinner seven days a week (booking essential): fresh local and/or organic produce is our preferred choice but quality is paramount. We received the Silver Flavour of the South East Award in the Tourism ExSEllence Awards 2009, following Gold Awards for Outstanding Customer Service (2007) and Access for All (2008). We have received numerous awards for Breakfast, including AA Best Breakfast in Britain 2000/01 and awards from the Home Grown Cereals Authority and VisitEngland in 2009. At Dinner, the seasonally-changing menu provides a mix of House Specialities and British Classics, supplemented by daily specials. The Wine List features 100 wines, marking the centenary of the original Nurse's Cottage building. Our Reception Shop is the New Forest National Park Authority Local Information Point and sells souvenirs, maps and guides, local produce including speciality cheeses, free-range eggs, preserves, honey and chocolates, plus wine-related accessories. Resident and restaurant guests may also purchase local wines, cider and beers.
