Large round oval dual purpose gage plum. Greenish-yellow skin with similar coloured flesh. Quite juicy with a pleasant flavour. Self-fertile and a good pollinator. Introduced from France in the mid 1800s.

On moderate vigour St Julien A rootstock. One year 'maiden' tree 1.5-1.8m tall. Can grow to 3.5-5.5m height and spread in 10+ years.
