Ham with Pasta and Olives

10oz pasta bows 300g
5 thick slices of ham
1/2lb black olives 200g
1cup soured cream 1/2pt/280ml
salt & freshly ground black pepper

This is a fast and simple pasta dish with a quite distinct flavour and Pasta is ideal for last minute entertaining.

Cook the pasta bows in plenty of lightly salted boiling water for 10 minutes or until just al dente (just cooked). Drain and place in a warmed serving dish. Add the ham (previously trimmed and cut into squares) plus the olives and cover with the soured cream. Mix and add seasoning.

Serve immediately with crusty bread and a side salad.
