BigBarns special relationship with FareShare

Your food can change lives: connect with FareShare on BigBarn

FareShare is the UK’s biggest charity fighting hunger and food waste. They take surplus good-to-eat food, which is unsold or unwanted by the food industry and pass it onto a network of more than 10,500 charities and charity groups.
These organisations then turn this nutritious food into meals for vulnerable families and individuals.

How FareShare works
When your business has food that you can’t sell to the intended customer, FareShare can help. Their dedicated Food Team can work with you to achieve the most cost and time effective solutions for dealing with your unsold food, enabling your business to use your surplus food for social good.

They have a flexible operating model and can deal with your surplus as it arises, whether that is regular or in one off spikes.

Food safety, full traceability and compliance is at the core of the FareShare operating model.
