I visited the farmshop and must admit it really gave me feel so happy to see that we still have english producers and farmers who are producing NATURAL and ORGANIC produce!! As i entered i seen the fresh fruit and veg... just the smell and the deep colour of the fruit and veg made me realise I was buying the freshest and healthiest produce. I then visited the butchers and requesting specific cuts of meat they were all to happy to give me the cuts. A great service. Being a sikh I do NOT eat Halal meat as part of my faith and was happy to find a butchers who supply meat and chicken that I know has had a good life And has been fed good healthy food. Thankyou and I will always recommend Keelham Farm Shop.Mr M. Singh - 1 March 2015
Keelham Farm Shop’s café and restaurant, Keelham Kitchen, has launched a new Christmas menu alongside festive food events that will showcase fresh local produce, all of which can be found in the Skipton shop – an original approach to fresh food retail that was recognised by the judges when the family business won the prestigious Shop of the Year Award 2018. The ‘Yorkshire Yuletide Feast’ menu is a celebration of delicious Yorkshire food and flavours. The menu has been devised by the Keelham Kitchen chefs, who craft their Christmassy creations using seasonal ingredients fresh from the shop. Kicking off the busiest period in the retail calendar, for the first time the Skipton shop will also host a Keelham Christmas Taste Night on Wednesday 28th November, showcasing the best of the region’s festive produce from some of Keelham’s 400+ local suppliers, to inspire customers to choose a handmade local Christmas this year. Kids can help Santa update his naughty or nice list, as the man in red will be paying a visit to Keelham Kitchen every Sunday in December (until Sunday 23rd December, 8am-10am) for a special Christmas breakfast for children and their families. Booking is essential, and tickets can be purchased by calling the shop on 01756 664170. Victoria Robertshaw, co-owner of Keelham Farm Shop comments, “We understand that Christmas is a busy time for our customers and great tasting food is top of the list, which is why we want to make planning meals for the Christmas holidays easy and enjoyable. Our Christmas Taste Night will be a really fun way to plan for all kinds of festive meals and everyone is welcome to come and taste lots of fresh produce handmade by our skilled butchers and bakers, as well as the best from our local suppliers and producers. We’re excited to welcome Santa back to Skipton too; we know that kids and parents are often our early-morning customers, so he said he’ll come and join us for breakfast!” ‘Yorkshire Yuletide Feast’ The two or three-course Christmas menu features family favourites with a Yorkshire twist. Highlights include a prawn cocktail spiced with Sheffield’s famous Henderson’s Relish, a wooden sharing board of Roast Yorkshire turkey, honey and mustard glazed ham and roast topside of beef which customers carve themselves, served with all the trimmings, and an array of decadent desserts including gingerbread spiced crème brûlée. If left with room for more, customers can tuck into a Yorkshire cheese board and finish off with a tea or coffee. Two courses - £24.95; three courses - £29.95. Keelham Christmas Taste Night, 28th November Customers will have the chance to try out all the Christmas food before the festive season gets into full swing as Keelham Kitchen hosts a one-off tasting event featuring Yorkshire Evening Post beer writer Simon Jenkins and Abbi Moreno, third generation scion of family wine merchant Moreno Wines.
