Corndale Farm was established in 2012 by Alastair Crown with the aim of producing top quality, high welfare, Free Range pork. Based on the outskirts of Limavady, at the foothills of Binevenagh Mountain, They adopt the field to fork approach and ensure full tracability in all their products.
In 2016 they spotted a gap in the market and launched Northern Irelands first handmade air dired Free Range chorizo and salami, produced from their own herd of Free Range Saddleback pigs. Since then they have invested in a new processing facility and state of the art curing chambers from Italy, and are creating a full array of Free Range charcuterie style products. They currently supply Northern Irelands finest hotels and restaurants and regularly host food tours at the farm. They supply all across Northern Ireland as well as the Republic of Ireland and GB and have even had customers from as far as USA.
From small beginnings they have grown the farm substantially and aim to be one of the largest Free Range pork producers in NI. They will soon be holding on farm workshops to include animal husbandry, butchery and charcuterie.
