Bought a Game Pie from here which we ate yesterday. A big disappointment. Dry and poorly seasoned.

You are probably right Dionysius. There were negative cooments but they have been deleted. Makes me wonder how many of the positive ones have been planted on here and don't bear out reality.

We read about a cooking event with Will Holland at the food centre and bought tickets. It was great, Will cooked 3 dishes off his own menu and we got recipe cards so we could make it at home. The place was packed during and after the event but we were able to get everything we wanted. After shopping we went to the cafe which has some great food, i really enjoyed the soup whilst my boyfreind had the ploughmans which made me really jealous. it was a great day out and we have some fantastic food for this week.

I thought the food we had in Cornwall was good but this place has really got it all...fresh local veg a fantastic looking meat counter and the best bit is you can see them busily making and preparing the food. The cafe was lovely too me and my partner had teh Gloucester Old Spot Pork Terrine which was wonderful and came with a really fresh salad. Well worth a visit, i just wish they had a branch in the south west.
