Our farm which covers around 19,000 acres along the Wiltshire, Berkshire and Hampshire borders, diversified in 2004 and built a brewery and distillery to make the most of the world class barley grown in our fields. The distillery produced its first bottle of single estate spirit in late 2015 and has been winning international awards since, and the estate pub, The Bell at Ramsbury, won AA pub of the year in 2017. In 2020 Ramsbury gin won a double gold SIP award. Grown, pressed and bottled on the estate, our Black-Gold extra virgin rapeseed oil is unfiltered and as a result retains a rich golden colour and deliciously nutty, smooth taste, with nothing added and nothing taken away.
We take great pride in growing and producing outstanding products and recycling as much as possible. Spent grain is fed to our cattle. waste water is filtered through reed beds to supply a lake. Wood from our commercial woodland that is not used for furniture is chipped and feeds our biomass boiler to heat our own supply of water to brew and distil with.
