This is a lovely family run local butchers. What ever cut of meat you want they will oblige. The best rump for many miles. Pasties are to die for but get in before half eleven or they'll all be gone!!

We call in here every time we visit a nearby campsite, Hole Station. I've seen what looks like 3 or 4 generations of the same family working inside the butchery and a lovely elderly lady bringing trays of freshly baked pasties out from the kitchen to sell. Got to try one yesterday and it was a total delight! Haven't tasted a REAL pasty like that since childhood when my own gran used to make them. A lovely joint of pork is currently roasting in the oven for dinner. Wonderful shop!
