Put a tea cup full of oats into a saucepan and gradually add the milk until the oats move freely, you can always add more later depending on your preference, place on a low heat and stir regularly to avoid sticking to the bottom of the saucepan. Let the porridge simmer and thicken. At this stage you can add any sweetener, honey, golden syrup, jam, etc. Pour into a bowl and enjoy! For speed, you can also microwave: cook for 2 minutes, stir and cook for further 1 minute.
