One of several 'Jersey' apples that arose in Somerset, not Jersey! Though there may be a link back to the Channel Isles in its origin in time. A bittersweet variety - sweet & astringent producing a cider of good quality. Pick / falls from tree late Oct/early Nov.

On strong growing M25 rootstock. 'Maiden' trees 1.2-1.5m tall. Can grow to 7.5m+ height and spread in 10+ years. Suitable for standard orchards and grazing sheep or even cattle between.
