AM1NAH Halal Beef Tallow is a delicious, stable and nutrient-dense natural and healthy cooking fat sourced from halal and tayyib, grass-fed, free-range and naturally raised Aberdeen Angus cattle that are free –from the hormones and chemicals that are present amongst factory-farmed animals. Our tallow are made from rendering suet, which is the hard, white fatty layer that surrounds an animal’s organs, specifically the loins and kidneys. The resulting tallow almost looks like a hybrid of coconut oil and butter, but with a dry, waxy texture that is rich in nutrients and loaded with flavour that will enhance all of your favourite recipes.
Traditional tallow is real fun to work with in the kitchen and keeps for months in your kitchen pantry. Like coconut oil and butter, our beef tallow is solid at room temperature. You can store it in your kitchen pantry in an air-tight container for months – or longer – and it will not degrade. Tallow has a great texture and will melt upon heating. It used to be the norm to cook with tallow. Just a couple of generations ago it was what people used to cook with as it has a very high smoke point as well as a long shelf life.
What can you do with halal beef tallow?
