Rupert Harker from Blackberry Farm supplies us with traditionally reared beef which we casserole in ale from the Grainstore Brewery in Oakham. Stilton from Webster Dairy is added to create a rich filling which is encased in shortcrust butter pastry made with locally milled flour and glazed with a free-range eggs from Windy Ridge Farm.
Ingredients: Steak (35%), Ale (21%), Wheat Flour, Onion, Carrots, Butter (Milk), Shortening (Vegetable Oil, Rapeseed Oil), Water, Stilton (Milk) (5%), Cornflour, Mixed Herbs, Garlic Puree, Tomato Puree, Colouring: Caramel, Salt, Pepper, Egg.
