Our Revive Blend was developed in response to feedback at farmers markets, but went on to become a 2-Star Great Taste Award Winner! Customers loved Bean Smitten's story and roasting style, but hankered after a roast which was just a little bit darker, punchier aka a get-up-and-go kind of coffee. Revive Blend was born and quickly became a best seller.
An evolution of the Classic Blend, it works great for espresso, lattes, cappuccinos and flat-whites. Alternatively, brew up in a cafetiere and enjoy a strong mugful of joy! This blend is bold, chocolatey, with notes of caramel and brown sugar.
Bean Smitten hand roast the coffee on the darker side of medium, striking a balance between roast colour and retaining the natural characteristics of the coffee. The current make up of the blend is as follows:
40% Sumatra, Bener Meriah. A washed coffee.
30% Brazil, Santa Ines. A naturally processed coffee.
30% Honduras, Altos De Erapuca. A washed, organic coffee and Rainforest Alliance certified.
All of Bean Smitten's coffees are ethically sourced and fairly traded.
Available to purchase in 250g and 1kg bags.
250g bags can be supplied as whole beans or ground just prior to packing, according to your preferred option (see below). 1kg bags are supplied as whole beans only. The 250g bags have an integrated zip-lock that can be used to reseal the bag, helping to keep the coffee fresher for longer. The 1kg bags are opened by cutting along the seal at the top. It is recommended you decant the beans into an air-tight container. Store your coffee in a cool, dry place and consume within 4 months of the roasting date shown on the packet.
The coffee bags are recyclable under a scheme provided by Terracycle, a global leader in hard-to-recycle waste. If you wish to take advantage of this, please post your used coffee bags to the address shown on the back of each packet. Note, that Bean Smitten are funding the cost of recycling themselves and can therefore only accept Bean Smitten coffee bags for recycling.
We will send whole beans as standard. If you require the coffee ground (250g bags only), please add a note telling us which type of coffee maker you use.
