Tony Carter from Hose is one of our deer stalkers.
He provides us with wild fallow deer which we
casserole in a red wine sauce, encased in short
crust butter pastry, made with locally milled flour and
glazed with free-range eggs from Windy Ridge Farm.

Ingredients: Venison (35%), Wheat Flour, Butter (Milk), Shortening (Vegetable Oil, Rapeseed Oil), Water, Onion, Mushrooms, Carrots, Cream (Milk), Tomato Puree, Garlic Puree, Colouring: Caramel, Red Wine, Preservative: Sulphur Dioxide, Mixed Herbs, Salt, Pepper, Egg. May contain lead shot.
