Copas Traditional Turkeys
The Copas family have been producing luxury turkeys in Cookham since 1957 & still use old-fashioned methods; Traditional breeds are raised to adult maturity for succulence & density of meat, then plucked by hand & game-hung for 2wks for tenderness & flavour.
Size Guide: allow 1/2kg per person.

COPAS TURKEYS AWARDED TWICE AT PIG & POULTRY AWARDS 2011
Copas Traditional Turkeys saw success again this year in the Pig & Poultry magazine Awards. Crowned as the Brand Identity of the Year winner led judges to comment “Copas Turkeys command slightly higher premiums & that is absolutely supported by their brand identity... building an ‘inspirational brand’ & the right to charge a premium - this only works if the product delivers on promise, and it does”. The 2nd award, Poultry Producer of the Year (Highly Commended) saw Copas Turkeys praised for their processes - “the mix of technologies; traditional old breeds, traditional rearing, plucking by hand, hanging to mature the meat, being innovative – making old fashioned relevant for today & creating a real point of difference in the market."
