Visited the Horner Tea Garden today. Had a very good plough mans , good size piece of coffee cake and a pot of real tea all at a good price. Good to see the tea garden open again as it is a favourite place of myself and friends. Service was a bit on the slow side but they were very busy I'am glad to say. But one doesn't go to a tea garden if one is in a hurry. The new owners and staff are friendly and greet you with a cheerie hallo.theyhave only been open a week and are really on the ball. Good fresh food and good value for money. The cream teas looked scrumptious . Do hope they put jacket potatoes on the menu. Good Luck to Laura and Jimmy.
