Home Farm sits on 150 acres of ancient ridge and furrow pasture land - home to the largest flock of rare breed Wensleydale Sheep.
Home Farm is located on the border of Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, two of the most historically famous and beautiful areas of the UK.
More specifically, Home Farm is over 900 years old, and has played important parts in the history and development of England. Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and more importantly, Home Farm is located on the site of the Battle of Edgehill, one of the largest battles fought during the English Civil War of the 1640s.
When we bought Home Farm in late 2006, it had been abandoned for several years, and had become derelict. Fortunately, the vision of restoring the farm to its former state was strong enough to ensure the farm became better than ever.
Home Farm is more than just the farmhouse. It sits in some 150 acres of ancient ridge and furrow pasture land which enables us to have one of the largest flocks of rare breed Wensleydale sheep.
