Blue Mountain coffee plants (The Arabica typica variety), are grown at altitudes of 900-2350 metres. It within these lush mountains, where this single origin coffee is grown and what is considered to be one of the best coffees in the world.
The irreplaceable climate coupled with lush vegetation, provides the Blue Mountains with a unique atmospheric condition. In this environment, nitrogen and phosphorus-rich volcanic soils, high-levels of rainfall, ideal drainage, unique screening and chillier temperatures of the island’s misty cloud coverage, all merge to produce a distinct world renowned coffee, which has mild, subtle nutty undertones with a delightful balance of aroma, signature sweet aftertaste and complexity of flavours.
