Walsingham Farms Shop

Our original award-winning shop is a historic grain store in the heart of Little Walsingham stocked with food from Norfolk farmers and producers. We have just opened a second shop at Norfolk Lavender, the famous lavender farm and visitor attraction at Heacham just south of Hunstanton. In both our shops we have our own butchery and an open kitchen where we bake pies and make delicious fresh ready meals. The new shop at Norfolk lavender also has a fresh fish counter. Our beef is raised in Walsingham, we have Norfolk milk, cheese and eggs, fresh local fruit and vegetables, while cakes and jams are home-made in Walsingham and in our kitchens.

We cure by immersing the meat in a our own recipe brine giving time to absorb Rich Brown Sugar & Juniper Berries. The Bacon is then Hot Smoked using a blend of woods with Oak to both drive out moisture & give full taste. To finish, our bacon is hung to rest, darken and further absorb the flavour given by the smoke. REAL BACON. YOU WILL TASTE THE DIFFERENCE
