We have been running The Honeypot for over 20 years, continuing over 100 years tradition of retailing food from the 17th century building. We take great pride in sourcing and supporting small local producers, so the shop is bursting with top quality preserves, chutney’s, dressings, oils, teas , coffee, biscuits, cakes, bread, chorizo, salami, fresh and cooked meats, pies and pates, confectionery, mint cake, ice cream, Cartmel Sticky Toffee pudding, over 40 varieties of cheese, over 50 varieties of honey from around the world. We also have a wide range of local gins, liqueurs and beers. A fabulous selection of small producer wines from around the world.
