We are a team of professionals very passioned about food who decided to revisit one of the most iconic Sicilian street food into a new concept of consumption of the “arancina” or “arancino”. “Arancina” or “Arancino” depending on which part of Sicily you will try this product, is delicious rice ball typically filled with Bolognese Ragu’ and Mozzarella. Another typical version that you will find, wondering around Palermo or Catania, is the butter and ham version. Typically, this product is served hot as street food from many Sicilian take away. We thought then, why this delicious product cannot be enjoyed elsewhere? Our Sicilian origin and our experience helped to develop a product that can be consumed hot or cold and can be a meal substitute to be found on the “food to go” session of chilled food shop. The result is Orancyna, a very versatile product that is aiming to be an alternative to sandwiches and pies. We are working to produce more variety of Orancyna to satisfy most people taste. So far, we have launched 2 version of it….
