I bought a marvelous salmon pie from the Melton Mowbray Country Fair on Sunday and thought it was the best dill sauce I have ever had and the fish reminded me of the summer isles one of my favourite holiday destinations. Well done Brocklebys.

I first tried the Salmon and Brocolli pie which I bought from The Stratford Upon Avon Food Festival 2009 and couldnt wait to buy another which I did at The Derbyshire Food Festival on the 24th May .Sadly I was dissapointed as the ingredients seem to have changed half of the salmon and broccoli had been replaced with a thick tasteless white sauce. Please revert to you original recipe John Woodworth

A truly excellent pork pie.The meat chopped into morsels rather than ground to death as so many pie fillings are. First rate

We made a 200 mile round trip to collect a Pork Pie and a few other goodies. I have to say it was well worth it. The pies are just fantastic quality. They never dissappoint. It was handy we were able to pick up my daughter's passport from uni that she had forgotten at the same time but the pies were the real reason for the journey.

Aren't there enough comments about the loveliness of Ian's sausage here already?
